Bar JO Homestead is thrilled to open up our waitlist for our upcoming 2025 litter. These litters have been in the making for over 4 years and we are excited to provide Canadians with reliable, quality, and well-tempered Anatolian Shepherds.

We are an ethical breeder that has been raising Anatolians for over 8 years. We have sold and prepared our puppies for both livestock guardian and family protector homes by raising the puppies with both livestock and children from birth. They will come CKC-registered, guaranteed hip/elbow dysplasia free, microchipped, vet-checked, vaccinated, and dewormed, with a collar, health passport, and a bag of puppy food provided.

Both parents are AKC and CKC registered, PennHIP and OFA (hip, elbow, thyroid) tested, and proven livestock guardians. The dam (Shepherds Rest Calamity Jane) is a beautiful gray fawn that weighs 130 pounds and measures 30 inches at the shoulder. The sire (Shepherds Rest Wild, Wild West) is a large fawn weighing 185 pounds and measuring 31 inches at the shoulder.
