We have owned Anatolians since 2016, but we started raising registered Anatolian Shepherds in 2024 and we feel honoured to be in this position. We absolutely love our dogs and the temperaments and guardian skills they have. As breeders our main value is to preserve the Anatolian breed within Canada, by providing Canadians with reliable, healthy, and registered livestock guardian dogs. We have never and will never breed a dog that doesn’t meet those qualifications or is a bad livestock guardian dog, as we value providing others with a livestock guardian they can rest assured will keep their livestock and property safe.

Before owning Anatolians our garden was daily eaten by deer, coyotes passed through our property, and our livestock were never safe. After owning the dogs we haven't ever had a predator problem when our dogs have access to the specific area. I say that 100% confidently because of these few situations that happened to us. Several summers ago I let my meat birds out into chicken tractors and had decided to keep the dogs out of the area because the chicken tractors would keep any predators out, or so I thought. In 1 night, a fox killed 26 of my 30 birds. The next day I put a dog in and heard a lot of commotion that first night, but no birds were killed and I never saw or heard the fox come back. Just last summer I had put some ewes out into a new pasture, but the fence wasn’t quite ready for a dog, so I figured the sheep would be fine just 1 night unprotected- I was wrong again. In 1 night a pack of coyotes came and killed 1 of my ewes and had her eaten down to the bone. Following that, I quickly finished the fence and had my dog in there by noon that day- not 1 sheep has been killed since then.

We are so thankful for our outstanding dogs that keep our livestock and property safe 24/7. We hope to provide Canadians with wonderful, reliable, and trustworthy dogs like ours.
